Art Exhibition to recognize the contributions of Hispanic and Latino American artists to the United States and celebrate their heritage and culture.
To benefit Life Pieces To Masterpieces, a Washington DC non-profit organization providing education, after school programs and training to Afro-American boys age 3-25.
To debate about the importance of empowering women and girls through better education and thus providing opportunities so that they can forge, together with their male counterparts, a fairer society.
Exhibited during the Law, Justice and Development (LJD) Week 2012 which explored the potentially transformative role of effective law and legal institutions in providing people, and most of all women, with more opportunities.
Itinerant exhibition of “Every Child Matters” finalist photos organized by Colors of Life and Every Child Matters Education Fund that will travel to multiple venues throughout the country to raise awareness and funds for Every Child Matters’ advocacy efforts during the US electoral campaign of 2012.
“Children in Development: From Distress to Hope”, an exhibition co-sponsored by the World Bank Legal Vice-Presidency and the World Bank Art Program accompanying the Justice, Law and Development Week 2011 conference. Photographs of children in different countries of the world: from Bangladesh to Argentina, from Romania to India, from Cambodia to Guatemala.
