Philanthropy
Colors of Life has developed a unique approach of combining direct financial support of its partner beneficiaries with the creation of opportunities for spotlighting their activities and facilitating direct and indirect fundraising by these organizations.
Colors of Life funds its direct support principally through donations and grants from individuals and institutions, entry fees, event ticket sales and sales of artwork and merchandise.
The opportunities it creates for its partner beneficiaries arise in connection with events organized around the photo contest and other exhibitions, which permit financial support from guests as well as follow-up solicitations based on contact information obtained at these events. They have included gala receptions and dinners, embassy and museum receptions, exhibitions in major art and photography fairs and public forums for discussion of related topics and initiatives.
