Colors of Life is about to travel to Portland, Maine, to be exhibited at June Fitzpatrick Gallery and participate in First Friday. Using art to open people’s hearts and minds to the challenges facing children, this exhibition features 30 photographs chosen by Ann Shumard, Curator of Photographs for the National Portrait Gallery and is part of an national exhibit and a non-partisan, public education campaign to raise the visibility of children’s issues during the 2012 election cycle.
June Fitzpatrick Gallery is an independently operated art space housed within the Maine College of Art (MECA). The gallery holds a central position in the heart’s of Portland art district and is a destination point for local, regional and international collectors and art appreciators.
